The Callisto Protocol: statuette, steelbook, Season Pass and next-gen upgrade, special editions specified

Striking Distance Studios unveiled the first trailer for gameplay of The Callisto Protocol during the PlayStation State of Play from this week. The inspiration of dead spacea universe partly imagined by the creator of the studio, is obvious there, which is not to displease fans of the license.

The release date has also been set for December 2, 2022, not only on PC, PS5 and Xbox Series X|S, but also on PS4 and Xbox One. In this third-person narrative survival horror set 300 years in the future, the player will take on the role of Jacob Lee, a man victim of his fate sent to languish in the prison of Black Iron, a maximum security penitentiary located on Callisto, a moon of Jupiter. When the inmates begin to transform into monstrous creatures, the prison is thrown into chaos. To survive, Jacob must escape from Black Iron prison. Gradually, all the macabre secrets buried beneath Callisto’s surface will reveal themselves to him. Jacob will have to adapt his combat techniques, a unique combination of shooting and close combat, to defeat constantly evolving creatures. He will also have to explore the locations to unlock new weapons, equipment and skills in order to escape the dangers and horrors of Jupiter’s dead moon.

The events of The Callisto Protocol take place in the year 2320 on Callisto, the dead moon of Jupiter. The player embodies Jacob Lee, an inmate of the Black Iron prison. As a mysterious epidemic plunges the moon into chaos, Jacob must face his deepest fears to defeat the bloodthirsty creatures sent after him, but also to discover the dark secrets hidden by the powerful United Jupiter Company.

FIGHTS COMBINED BRUTALITY AND STRATEGY
The Callisto Protocol features a unique combination of shooting and melee combat, including a never-before-seen gravitational weapon once used by Black Iron prison guards to control the population. To survive, the player will have to master his arsenal at his fingertips! Indeed, he will be forced to approach his monstrous adversaries in order to sever their limbs or blow off their legs, and to show great creativity by taking advantage of his environment in order to survive the mortal perils that await him. he will cross on his way.
