The Callisto Protocol: Striking Distance Studios denies survival horror rumors


Expected in less than two months on PC and consoles, The Callisto Protocol gave players a little scare last night, the fault of an Epic Games Store page dedicated to Halloween sales mentioning a delayed launch to February 12, 2023. Rest assured, it was a error, Striking Distance Studios having confirmed last night that no postponement was planned for the survival-horror which will therefore arrive on December 2 on PC and consoles.

No postponement and an announced Performance mode

In addition to clarifying the situation on Twitternote that the Californian studio took the opportunity to announce that the title will include a Performance mode allowing enjoy a stable framerate of 60 fps when playing on consoles. A news that is nothing extraordinary for a cross-gen project but which will at least have the merit of satisfying those who prefer to benefit from an experience with a constant frame rate even if it means slightly sacrificing the quality of the graphics.
