Sony and Polyphony Digital reveal the contents of update 1.36 of Gran Turismo 7. Between free cars and events, you are in for a treat.
Gran Turismo 7 is preparing for a major update. As many hoped, Polyphony Digital prepared a crunchier-than-usual patch to celebrate the film’s release this month. The little teaser from Kazunori Yamauchi, the creator of the license, in any case hinted at a few more vehicles than what we were used to. The next GT7 update is fully revealed, with a very nice program.
Five free cars are coming to Gran Turismo 7
Gran Turismo 7 update 1.36 will be available this Monday, August 7 at 9:00 a.m. PDT. A somewhat different patch from the others since it will celebrate the launch of the film on August 9 with great fanfare. It will start with a big surprise: there will not be four but five free cars thanks to this update. The Nissan GT-R Nismo GT3 ’18, as featured in the film, will then be obtainable from August 7 through September 28. A special panel will appear at the top right of the World Map screen. All you have to do is click on it to get the vehicle. Additionally, a new livery will be available by purchasing this vehicle from Brand Central. In summary, the five cars available in the Gran Turismo 7 update will be:
- Nissan GT-R Nismo GT3 ’18 in his version of the movie Gran Turismo. It will be available during a campaign via a special in-game panel.
- Chevrolet Corvette (C1) ’58 : the origin of American sports cars, the first of its generation
- Maserati MC20 ’20: an 8-speed master supercar that can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in less than 2.9 seconds.
- Toyota Ambulance Himedic ’21 : ambulance truck which will be available from Brand Central from the end of September. However, he will benefit from an early unlockable via GT7’s World Series Showdown Spectator Gift Campaign.
- Toyota GR Corolla MORIZO Edition ’22 : unique two-passenger model that highlights the classic beauty of a simple internal combustion engine.
Events and great giveaways for the World Series Showdown
The World Series Showdown 2023 Amsterdam is also getting ready to go into full swing on August 11 and 12. Gran Turismo 7 celebrates the event in style with a “Guess the Winners” campaign. If you manage to find the lucky winners, you can get credits. Score 1,000,000 credits for guessing correctly and 2,000,000 credits for correctly guessing the winners of both tournaments. The “Spectators” campaign will allow you to obtain 6-star Roulette Tickets [Moteur] and early access to the Toyota Ambulance Himedic early access by clicking on the two corresponding banners. Tickets for these rewards will be distributed on Monday August 14th and Monday August 21st.

Some new content with update 1.36 of Gran Turismo 7
The program is already loaded, but the update 1.36 of Gran Turismo 7 will obviously add some usual extras. Starting with the new Scapes “Fire Station” which immerses you in the heart of a fire station, but also three new GT Café menus, namely:
