SURVEY – After three years of absence, fifteen made their first trip there since the reopening of the country last January.

“Videoconference meetings, we did them for three years, we held on, but we can’t say that it was the most pleasant”, acknowledges Thierry de La Tour d’Artaise. The president of SEB made his first visit to China last week since October 2019. A crucial return: the French household appliance giant, which in the mid-2000s took control of Supor, one of the local players in the sector, realizes a quarter of its sales in the country. This subsidiary, in which SEB holds 83%, is listed on the Shenzhen Stock Exchange. On Wednesday, for the first time in three and a half years, Thierry de La Tour d’Artaise therefore chaired, face-to-face, the board of directors of Supor.
