This preview of new Prime Video releases for April 2024 includes two “Amazon Original” films, including a romantic comedy: How To Date Billy Walsh. What does it say? The story of two teenagers, Amelia and Archie, who have known each other since they were little. The best friends in the world ? Yes, except for Archie who would like a more intimate relationship with the young woman. While he is ready to reveal what he feels, Amelia lets herself be captivated by the charm of a newly arrived American student. An arrival that will make things more difficult for Archie. Nick Frost (the Cornetto trilogy) is in the cast.
The second known film is Music. Another rom com that has the rhythm in the skin of and with Rudy Mancuso, as well as Camila Mendes from the Netflix series Riverdale. Rudy, a street artist from Newark, has a very different perception of the world from the rest of the population. He suffers from synesthesia and does not experience everyday noises in the traditional way. His destiny will change when he falls in love with Isabella (Camila Mendes), who will understand him like no one before.

Prime Video series for April 2024 confirmed
The Prime Video releases of April 2024 will undoubtedly be marked by the addition of the Fallout series, from April 11. A very promising adaptation of the cult Bethesda license supervised by Jonathan Nolan and his wife Lisa Joy, the creators of Westworld on HBO. Ella Purnell (Miss Peregrine and Peculiar Children, Arcane…) plays the main heroine Lucy, and opposite Walton Goggins (The Shield, Sons of Anarchy…) who will be a ghoul and Kyle MacLachlan ( Twin Peaks, Desperate Housewives…).

The horror and fantasy anthology Them also returns with a season 2 “The Scare”. The action still takes place in Los Angeles, but in 1991 and no longer in 1952. We will follow police inspector Dawn Reeve who is in charge of investigating the atrocious murder of a foster mother. A case that could well consume him and his family. April Prime Video docs and shows confirmed
Éric and Ramzy are arriving on Prime Video thanks to the show Comedy Class, available on April 26, 2024 on the Amazon platform. Together, they will go on a crazy tour across France and Belgium to discover future gems of humor. The best will be selected to join the Comedy Class where they will be tested with challenges around improvisation and roasting (taking on guests), and supervised with advice to perhaps make a career of their own. And obviously, the duo will not be alone and other celebrities will participate in this new talent show exclusive to Prime Video.
