Lords of the Fallen took advantage of the opening night of Gamescom 2023 to show more of its nightmarish universe that will have to be overcome.
Lords of the Fallen is the most anticipated souls-like of the year. After a lackluster first opus, the studio has decided to go all out by offering a sequel that reshuffles the cards. For the moment, the many trailers of the game have been able to excite the community eager for challenges and ruthless universes. The new trailer unveiled at Gamescom 2023 focuses on the gaming world and the enemies that inhabit it.
Lords of the Fallen promises a fabulous universe
This souls-like invites us to travel through tormented lands where nightmarish creatures roam. As we can see in this new trailer, the studio seems to have worked on its dark fantasy universe and the results are clear: it makes you drool. In order to correct the defects of its predecessor, this sequel will make us evolve in more open areas. There will also be a double realm mechanic where we can travel to another world which, as we have been told, does not offer the same gaming experience. The lifespan has also been redesigned, and we will obviously be dealing with to an epic folding in approximately 30 hours.
Right now, people at Gamescom have the opportunity to try their hand at Lords of the Fallen. On the menu, players can try out hand-to-hand combat, ranged combat and magic while enjoying this famous concept of travel between worlds. For those who could not make the trip, we must be satisfied with this new sumptuous trailer. The quality of the graphics is not a surprise, after all, the Hexworks title was designed thanks to the Unreal Engine 5, hence these frankly impressive visuals.
