Solid performance which justifies its arrival in the comparison

The performance of the A115 can be seen mainly in two respects: component cooling and noise.

For example, In terms of temperature, the Corsair A115 is able to keep the temperature of a Core i9-14900K processor at 75°C or lower, even when overclocking. This is an excellent result for such a demanding CPU.

What about noise pollution? With the fans set at 50% of their maximum speed, the sound level is only 25 dB (the equivalent… of a windless exterior!). Even with the fans set at 100% of their maximum speed, the noise level does not exceed 45 dB, which remains acceptable.

Compared to other models at the same price, what is Corsair’s A115 worth?

A first comparison is necessary between the Corsair A115 and the Noctua NH-D15, a true benchmark for the cooler. In terms of price, the two models are very close, with only 5 euros difference in favor of Corsair’s machine. They both provide high performance, both for temperature regulation and noise. The Corsair A115 has the advantage of being more easily assembled, but unlike the Noctua model, it does not include the necessary tools, such as the long screwdriver. What about the warranty? Noctua does slightly better, at 6 years compared to 5 years for Corsair.

We can also compare the A115 with the Dark Rock Pro 5 from be quiet!. This latter cooler has the advantage of being both simple and quick to assemble (no more than 5 minutes). However, it remains below its competitor in terms of performance.

You will have understood: our heart is mainly between the NH-D15 from Noctua and the A115 from Corsair.

With Corsair, elite coolers

Even if this is not the type of product for which it is best known, the computer manufacturer Corsair offers us extensive ranges.

Several models from the manufacturer have enjoyed some success, such as the Corsair A500 with its 4 copper heat pipes and two ML120 fans. This is also the case for the Capellix series, with the H100i Elite and the H150i Elite, which takes advantage of the brand’s experience in coolers to offer liquid-sink AiO systems with two or three fans respectively.

Obviously, Corsair is not ignoring RGB, as evidenced by the iCUE and Dual Light Loop series.
