After CovidTracker and ViteMaDose… TrackMyWatt!

In 2020, Guillaume Rozier launched CovidTracker,
a tool allowing to follow the evolution of the coronavirus epidemic in France and in the world. A few months later, the young engineer launched ViteMaDose, a new tool allowing this time to detect available appointments for vaccination against Covid-19.

While the energy shortage has been on everyone’s lips for several weeks, Guillaume Rozier is launching a brand new tool, this time intended to monitor energy consumption in France in real time. Its name: TrackMyWatt.

The TrackMyWatt site is therefore responsible for monitoring electricity consumption in France, in real time. The data comes from RTE, the electricity transmission network in France, and is updated in real time.

It is very important to educate and give more precise figures to the French “, explained Guillaume Rozier on the airwaves of FranceInfo.

For the time being, TrackMyWatt makes it possible to follow the power consumed, and thus to monitor consumption peaks in order to avoid (as much as possible) over-consumption. You can also find consumption monitoring for the current month, and of course a summary of consumption peaks by month.

let’s remember that
the objective set by the government is to consume 10% less electricity this winter compared to usual years. Finally, Guillaume Rozier specifies that TrackMyWatt is under construction, and that new functionalities will soon arrive to monitor both consumption and energy production.
