The Crêpière Pro de Lagrange takes on cast iron to seduce semi-pros

Lagrange is getting ahead and wants to celebrate pancakes all year round. The manufacturer is indeed releasing a new Pro crepe maker made in France. The appliance differs from most of its competitors by its 40 cm cast iron plate, a material which offers incomparable heating homogeneity.

The pioneer in this field is the Billig de Krampouz, which prides itself on being the ideal device for future crepe makers. Like this model, the Lagrange’s casing is made of stainless steel, which suggests that it will weigh its weight on the scales. For the more adventurous, handles, or rather notches, are provided to easily move it. However, the seasoning step is not necessary: ​​the plate of the Crêpière Pro is enamelled and therefore ready to use. On this point, it reminds us of Krampouz’s Kemper.

To cook pancakes and pancakes as they should, the Crêpière Pro has a power of 3000 W and an adjustable thermostat ranging from 0 to 300°C. A rozell, a ladle and a spatula, all three in stainless steel, are supplied with the device.

Offered at €350, the crepe maker is a notch above the Billig and adds €100 to the bill. We will see if its performance justifies this price, close to entry-level devices for professionals.
