The Crosscall Core-Z5 smartphone test has joined our comparison

The Crosscall Core-Z5 is a niche smartphone, which cannot really be compared with traditional mobiles. It is an extremely solid device, designed to withstand shocks and withstand harsh weather conditions. In addition, its 5G compatibility and its powerful SoC allow it to cope with all the uses of a mobile in 2022. But its high price leaves us with the right to expect a certain standard. In addition to a fairly poorly calibrated LCD panel, it also suffers from its single photo sensor. An element that can be important for certain professional tasks (notably at night). It makes up for it, however, thanks to its good durability and its 5-year guarantee, which allows you to see the future serenely. But if 4G is enough for you, the question of choosing another model of the brand clearly arises.

Alternatively

The Pixel 7 Pro confirms the good copy made last year by the Pixel 6 Pro. The smartphone refines a formula that hits the mark: Google places a very bright Oled screen, a powerful Tensor G2 chip and photo equipment that makes it one of the most versatile terminals. Android 13 is entitled to particular refinements (transcription of voice messages, free VPN to come) which serve this successful hardware. We of course regret that the smartphone does not do better in terms of autonomy and fast charging, an area in which Google does not perform miracles, and this year again we can blame the terminal for its somewhat massive design. But these elements are not enough, in our opinion, to darken this very convincing picture.
