The Crown, Prince Harry is "more at ease" with the series than with the tabloids

Prince Harry recently made a rare public appearance on James Corden's Late Late Show. While the Royal Family are not a big fan of The Crown, he has revealed that he greatly prefers fiction to stories told by the tabloids.

Prince Harry has decided to end his royal obligations once and for all. While he now lives in Los Angeles alongside his wife and son Archie, he was recently James Corden's guest for the Late Late Show. The presenter was quick to ask Meghan Markle's husband what he thought of the series The Crown which tells the story of Elizabeth II and the British royal family in a romanticized way. If the Firm is not always a fan of the Netflix, Prince Harry defended The Crown. "This is fiction, but it is based loosely on the truth. Of course, it is not strictly correct.", he confided. Prince Harry appears to be waiting for the return of The Crown and even has an idea of who might interpret his role. According to him, there is no other choice than actor Damian Lewis that we could see in Homeland or Trillions.

Prince Harry has revealed that the series gives a pretty good idea of what it means "put your duty before family and all the rest". One thing is certain, he much prefers the show to anything that can be read in the press people. "I am much more comfortable with The Crown than reading stories about my family or my wife. (…) It's brought up as a fact because you are meant to be news. I have a real problem with this ", he told James Corden. The relentlessness of the tabloids is one of the reasons he gave up his royal duties. Archie's dad assured that he felt the need to take some distance with "a difficult environment" who "destroyed" his sanity. "So I did what any husband, father, would have done. 'I have to get my family out of here'. But we did not run away. I will never run away (the royal family)", he explained.

Elizabeth II's grandson then revealed he was in touch with his family through Zoom and then gave news of his little Archie. As he prepares to be a big brother, he would have inherited his mother's passion for cooking. “My grandma asked us what Archie wanted for Christmas and Meghan said a waffle mold. She sent us a waffle mold for Archie. So now at breakfast Meg is making us a wonderful organic mix in the waffle mold ", assured the happy dad. "Waffle" would be one of Archie's favorite words although the first word he said was "crocodile" as Prince Harry pointed out, who was quite proud of his son.
