The Cybertruck has not even entered production yet that some are already thinking about how they could customize it to diversify its uses.

You can already book the “Cybercat”, announced in two finishes to temporarily make your Cybertruck… a catamaran!

No, Cybercat is not a robot cat

You can’t stop progress, and “Cybercat” is the embodiment of it. This project, very serious it seems, aims to propose, against sums ranging from 22,900 to 42,900 dollars, the transformation of your Cybertruck into Cybercat. In concrete terms, if you’ve always dreamed of going fishing on your Cybertruck, you’ve come to the right place! Thus, the first version, soberly baptized “Cybercat”, offers a removable mounting allowing you to reach, on the water, the speed of 40 km/h (22 knots). The announced range would be 185 km at an average speed of around 10 km/h, and 80 km at an average speed of 25 km/h.

But that’s not all, because a second version, called “Cybercat Foiler”, is even more innovative to gain in aerodynamics. It can reach up to 65 km/h (35 knots) with a range comparable to the first version at an average of 10 km/h. In both cases, you can opt for one to five 50 kW electric motors, with a price modulated accordingly. The idea comes to us from Anthony Diamond, an American listed in particular in the 2017 “30 under 30” ranking of Forbes in the Energy category.

No one says whether the ideas proposed by the engineer, ranging from the possibility of sailing quietly, but also ultimately to building Cybercat marinas, will go to the end. Indeed, if it is still necessary to recall it, the Cybertruck is constantly pushed back. It is now scheduled for at least 2023. And watch out for sea water!
