In July 2018, Yager Entertainment (Spec Ops: The Line) announced The Cyclea multiplayer first-person shooter with online combat PvPvE, which was a relative success. Following the merger between Yager and Tencent, the title is going to be relaunched with a bunch of improvementsbut first you have to do closed betas and the second is coming.
The Cycle: Frontier, which will be a separate game, will therefore be in the closed test phase from March 10 to 28.exclusively on PC via Steam and theEpic Games Store. To participate, just register and cross your fingers to be selected. This second beta will allow you to discover new featureseverything is detailed on the official website of the game, but here are the main elements:
- New Faction Campaigns: Three new faction campaigns will guide you through your first steps on the surface, while allowing you to unlock new equipment and get a glimpse of the lore of The Cycle: Frontier.
- New Party Activities: Fortuna III is doubling in danger. Call on the new and improved Laser Drill for a big buck, but be prepared to take on anyone who approaches to steal what’s yours.
- New Monster Variants: the famous fauna is back with a few more (deadly) surprises. New variants of creatures offer ever greater challenges and rewards for the bravest who dare to tackle them.
- New Map Design: Bright Sands and Crescent Falls have been redesigned for better traversal, with improved graphics to capture the perfect balance of danger and beauty in Fortuna III.
If you don’t know at all The Cycle: Frontierit is a FPS in free-to-play with some PvPvE which takes us to Fortuna III, an alien planet full of dangerous creatures, which you will have to face to complete missions. You won’t be the only one, you will therefore have to recover resources before your opponents and leave the planet alive to increase your reputation and improve his tools and weapons.
