After House of AshesBandai Namco and Supermassive Games return with a new episode of the license The Dark Pictures Anthology: The Devil in Me. Scheduled for November 18, the title, the 4th installment in the franchise, will mark the end of season 1. Like its predecessor, it will be available on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One and Xbox Series.
The story of The Devil in Me takes us to a hotel that happens to be an exact replica of the infamous Castle of the murders of serial killer HH Holmes. It is in this macabre place that we follow a team of documentary reporters, invited for a site visit. Unfortunately for them, this little visit will very quickly turn into a real nightmare. Watched and manipulated, they will have to try everything to escape the deadly traps that their mysterious host sets in their path.
If the scenario has a priori nothing very innovative, the development teams want to focus on the new features to bring in this fourth part. It should therefore be possible to interact much more with the environment around you, compared to previous games. Among the feasible actions, we will thus find the fact of being able to run, climb or even jump, but also to push or pull objects. Finally another novelty, an inventory is also appearing allowing each character to keep some objects on him.
