This is a nice surprise for those who want to (re)discover the anthology The Little Hope before the arrival of the last episode of the first season, The Devil in Me. Whether House of Ashes was released directly on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S, Man of Medan and Little Hope are now entitled to updates offering next gen upgrades free.
But the patches don’t stop there, adding for both experiences “difficulty levels and QTE intros, improved UI and interactions, updated trajectory visuals and event triggers, increased movement and more accessibility options, such as the size of subtitles”. Mainly for Man of Medanits 1.18 update adds “ the new final chapter Floodwhich introduces never-before-seen deaths in a gripping ending.
Players who own the PS4 version of this game can get the digital PS5 version at no additional cost. If you own the game in PS4 physical version, insert it into PS5 each time to download or play PS5 digital version. Owners of a PS5 Digital Edition console will not be able to use a physical PS4 version to play the PS5 version for free.
The Dark Pictures: The Devil in Me will be released on November 18 and you can pre-order it from €39.99 on Amazon.co.uk.
