In less than a month now, sony will launch the PlayStation VR 2, its new virtual reality headset for the PS5. An accessory obviously eagerly awaited by lovers of experience VRand many titles will be available from the launch of the headset… except one, which is a little late.
Supermassive Gamesalready well known in the world of virtual reality for the rail shooter Until Dawn: Rush of Blood (but also Bravo Team and The Inpatient), has just announced that The Dark Pictures: Switchback VR will not be released at the same time as the PSVR 2its release date is pushed back to March 16, 2023. In a statementthe studio explains that the title is very ambitious for virtual reality, with five worlds to explore and numerous storyline branches, in line with the other chapters of The Dark Pictures Anthology. He must resolve to miss the launch window of the PlayStation VR 2 to delay the release of the game for a few weeks in order to polish it and provide the most terrifying experience possible from day one.
