The traditional winter sales will begin on Wednesday January 12 at 8 am in most French departments.
To take advantage of the good deals at the start of the year, you will have to wait a few more days. The winter sales, which traditionally follow the end of the year celebrations, will begin on Wednesday 12 January 8 a.m. in most of the metropolitan departments, as well as in Guyana, Martinique and Mayotte. Like last year, they will take place over 4 weeks (compared to 6 weeks previously), that is to say until Tuesday 8 February
In metropolitan France, the only exceptions concern Meurthe-et-Moselle, Meuse, Moselle and Vosges. In these border departments, sales have started yesterday, Monday January 3, to align with the dates in force in Luxembourg and Belgium, and will end on Sunday, January 30.
Unlike last year, when the start of the winter sales was delayed on January 20 due to the second wave of the Covid epidemic, there is no indication that such a postponement will take place this year, despite the 5th wave bound to the Omicron variant.

A sold product, on the other hand, is a product like any other: it benefits from the same guarantees. Sold or not, the good must be replaced or refunded if it contains a hidden defect. The seller is also obliged to offer the repair or replacement of the non-conforming good within 2 years of purchase, or failure to repay it.
