Nvidia took advantage of CES 2023 to hold one of the first gaming conferences. While the focus was of course on showcasing new hardware, like the RTX 4070 Ti, the manufacturer also wanted to highlight a few games that made the most of the technology. DLSS-3 to better promote the technical capabilities of its products. The Day Before was one of his games, since the studio Fntastic released a short snippet of gameplay while unveiling a unique behind-the-scenes video of development, to say the least.
Downgrade confirmed?
Even though this in-game extract in 4K RTX serves to illustrate the power of Nvidia graphics cards, one cannot help but notice that The Day Before appears a little less handsome each time he shows up (without being hideous, far from it). Probably because the latter is getting closer to its release date and it was time to stop misleading people with a technical demo that was unlikely to be real.
After all, Fntastic does not have the resources of a large studio (remember that more than 40 volunteers work on the game), but it seems to be good to live there. At least that’s what the studio leaders want to highlight in a surprising video that doesn’t really talk about the game, but… about coworking software.
It almost feels like a parody, as the efforts made for this video are much more important than those made to present the MMO to us, which is due out in less than two months. We therefore cross our fingers so that all this is not just a huge joke.
The Day Before will be available from March 1 on PC, then at a later date on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series.
