The Day Before postponed, but for his own good!

Originally slated for release in June 2022The Day Before is probably one of the most anticipated games of this year, but unfortunately we are indeed going to have to be patient since the developers of the title have announced its postponement. Although we are not very surprised by this news, we are still disappointed.

Nevertheless, according to FNTASTICif the developers made this decision, it is for the good of the survival game, we explain why.

The Day Before postponed, but goes under the Unreal Engine 5

Instead of a short month of waiting, we now have to wait almost a year before we can enjoy FNTASTIC’s survival MMO. According to a report byIGN and a press release from the studio, the title will indeed be available not this summer but March 1, 2023.

If the developers made such a decision, it’s because The Day Before will go under the Unreal Engine 5the new graphics engine.

Even if our hearts of players find themselves a little bruised, we understand not without difficulty that it is for the good of the title. With the Unreal Engine 5, The Day Before will indeed benefit from the latest technological and graphic performancesand the immersion will be more than total.

[…] we are happy to announce that The Day Before is moving to the new Unreal Engine 5 technology! The transition to a more advanced and responsive open worlds engine will make The Day Before gameplay all the more fantastic. In this regard, we inform you that the new release date of the game will be March 1, 2023.

Moreover, through the press release, we also learn that the survival game is one of the most anticipated games of recent years since according to the developers, “Millions of people have added The Day Before to their wishlist, making The Day Before one of the most anticipated games in the world“, just that !

The Day Before, a merciless apocalyptic world

As a reminder, The Day Before will immerse PC and console players in an apocalyptic worldwith events taking place across the United States of America. Our main character will end up there a little (perhaps?) by chance, and will no longer have any memory of what may have happened before.

He will have to face cities totally ransacked by time and nature, with as traveling companions, friendly zombies. Nevertheless, these monsters may not be the most threatening since, who says MMO inevitably says encounters with other players. Alliance or misunderstanding, a choice will have to be made.

PC players will be delighted with the news: the next survival MMO, The Day Before, will have the possibility of being embellished thanks to DLSS and Ray-Tracing from Nvidia.
