The Day Before servers will close on January 22 – Gamosaurus

After multiple postponements, the long-awaited The Day Before ended up coming out. In early access. In deplorable condition. But don’t panic, Fntastic has found the solution, stop development and remove the game from sale! Obviously, years of lies and fake trailers weren’t going to create a real product. And if the servers are still active, The Day Before will permanently close its doors on January 22, 2024. Fortunately, it is already no longer available for sale, preventing anyone from being fooled.

Since the announcement regarding the refund, it has been complete radio silence at Fntastic. Some answers were still given, with a magnificent “ It was our first big experience. It happens.“. Suffice it to say that even without expecting much from the title or the studio, they manage to reach unsuspected depths.

Finally, on December 22, the Twitter account of The Day Before announced the closure of the servers for January 22. A press release that could not be more classic, in which the studio reiterates its words. The Fntastic studio has officially ceased to operate. No support is maintained for The Day Before, and Mytona is working with Steam to reimburse players. But this news does not come alone, since another studio project is impacted by this decision.

Launched in November 2021, Propnight mixes the asymmetrical multiplayer survival game inspired by Dead by Daylight
and hide and seek Prop Hunt. Developed and kept alive by Fntastic, the game therefore no longer has a developer behind it. The number of players varied between a few thousand and ten per day. With the closure of the studio, the title is removed from sale and its servers will also close on January 22.
