Today’s leak gives way to the official list of the first Xbox Game Pass additions for December 2023. A very solid selection with big licenses in the lot.
The month of December promises to be very quiet. It will be above all marked by the release of Avatar Frontiers of Pandora on PS5 and Xbox Series, and since Ubisoft is banking heavily on this release, there is no question of offering it as soon as it is launched on Xbox Game Pass. Will Microsoft still pull out all the stops for the end-of-year holidays with titles that have already proven themselves? The expected announcement has fallen and here are the first Xbox Game Pass games.
Xbox Game Pass games for December 2023 confirmed
The end of year holidays are fast approaching. While Epic Games Store should bring out its basket full of free games, Microsoft also intends to spoil its subscribers. Two games joined the Xbox Game Pass catalog earlier today, and the publisher has finally announced next month’s program after the usual leak from our national dataminer BillBil-Kun. The complete list of new releases arriving in the coming days for subscribers is now known, but also that of releases – the games which will leave the service soon. So what will be the Xbox Game Pass program for December 2023? Here is the line-up for the first wave:
- Remnant II (Cloud, Console and PC): Already available
- Remnant: From The Ashes (Cloud, Console and PC): Already available
- SteamWorld Build (Cloud, Console and PC): Available Day One from 1er December
- Spirit of the North: Enhanced Edition (Cloud, Console and PC): December 1
- Clone Drone in the Danger Zone (Cloud, Console and PC): December 5
- Rise of the Tomb Raider (Cloud, Console and PC): December 5
- While the Iron’s Hot (Cloud, Console and PC): December 5
- World War Z: Aftermath (Cloud, Console and PC): December 5
- Goat Simulator 3 (Cloud, Console and PC): December 7
- Against the Storm (PC): December 8
- Tin Hearts (Cloud, Console and PC): December 12
- Far Cry 6 (Cloud, Console and PC): December 14
Far Cry 6 and Rise of the Tomb Raider will very clearly be the headliners of this December 2023 Xbox Game Pass. We will nevertheless note the arrival of popular titles like the crazy Goat Simulator 3 or even World War Z: Aftermath. However, this is not all that has been leaked. The dataminer reveals that two new titles will be added to Xbox Game Pass Core, the new offering deployed this year. It will therefore be enhanced with Chivalry 2 and Totally Reliable Delivery Service during the next month.
New XGP Core features and December 2023 releases
In the December 2023 XGP Games Update, Microsoft announces two new Xbox Game Pass Core features. Do you like armored knights beating each other up? The multiplayer title Chilvary 2 will be available from December 6. On the same day, subscribers will be able to launch Totally Reliable Delivery Service. A game where you have to deliver packages with ragdoll physics. Your possible experience on Death Stranding should therefore not help you much.
New entries which, as always, are accompanied by exits. All of the following games will leave Xbox Game Pass on December 15:
