This weekend, the parliamentarians of the National Rally are meeting in Agde to prepare for the return to politics. A city in which the RN obtained 70% of the votes in the second round of the legislative elections. On the program: conferences, workshops but also the speeches of the two contenders for the presidency of the party: Jordan Bardela and Louis Aliot.

A dense day awaits the parliamentarians of the National Rally who are brought together by the party in Agde. The setting is somewhat reminiscent of the holidays, but yet it is the complete opposite of what awaits them. The 89 RN deputies at work to prepare for the return to politics and the start of parliamentary work next week. Two major conferences are scheduled for this Saturday afternoon: one by political scientist Jérôme Sainte-Marie, who will deliver his analysis to parliamentarians on the current political context. Jérôme Sainte-Marie, who should participate in the National Rally executive school in a few weeks.

Speeches by the contenders for the party presidency

Then, MP Jean-Philippe Tanguy will speak on the energy crisis. There are also workshops planned, for example, on the budget in the run-up to the finance bill. The objective for the RN is now to professionalize and train its elected officials to show that they are a great party of government.

This Sunday, the day will be that of the speeches, those of the pretenders to the congress for the presidency, Jordan Bardela and Louis Aliot. Before Marine Le Pen’s big back-to-school speech. And these parliamentary days do not happen in Agde by chance. It was the first city with more than 30,000 inhabitants to vote for the National Rally: the party won almost 70% of the votes in the second round of the legislative elections.
