The devs are removing one of Warzone’s biggest problems

Since February 8, we have had the right to the new trailer for season 2 of Call of Duty: Warzone Pacific and Call of Duty Vanguard, but also to the revelation of its roadmap. If the novelties will be numerous, the developers have finally decided to remove one of the biggest black points of Battle Royale: the animation of the gas mask.

Warzone Devs Finally Remove Gas Mask Animation

The source of several frustrations, Warzone Pacific players have been pointing out for many months, if not since the start of the game, the problem of gas mask animation.

When the latter get their hands on this equipment, they can benefit from a limited time in the toxic gas without taking any damage. However, for the game to look realistic, an animation triggers when operators put it on and take it off. Thereby, if an enemy is in front of them, the animation therefore unfortunately prevents them from shooting the opponentmaking them vulnerable.

In addition, at the end of the game, when the area shrinks more, the players are sometimes led to find themselves in the gas several times and therefore inevitably have to put it on and then take it off if they have the equipment, which can quickly become problematic with the current configuration.

Nevertheless, this will soon be history since, indeed, Raven Software has finally announced the removal of this damn animation.

It is therefore from February 14th that players will finally be able to enjoy the gas mask without fear of being killed during its animation. In addition, other elements will appear during this season 2, and the Nebula V gas seems to be at the center of all the tensions…

Highly anticipated by players since Sledgehammer Games’ announcement, Ranked mode is about to join Call of Duty Vanguard. Here are all the details about it.
