FRANKFURT, June 27 (Reuters) – The European Central Bank (ECB) on Monday announced a change in the times for its monetary policy announcements and press conferences, with the key being a shorter interval between the two events.

From 21 July, the date of the next Governing Council meeting dedicated to monetary policy, decisions will be announced at 2.15 p.m. Frankfurt time, half an hour later than before, and ECB President Christine Lagarde, will begin his press conference at 2:45 p.m., a quarter of an hour later.

The calendar of monetary policy meetings is unchanged.
