The Elder Scrolls 6: The “grandmother of Skyrim” makes a very special request to Bethesda

It’s a story more than touching, that of the grandma of Skyrim, who made a very special request to Bethesda. While the sixth installment of The Elder Scrolls license is long overdue, Skyrim’s grandmother may well shake things up. Get out the tissues and prepare to be touched by maximum cuteness.

The Elder Scrolls has never lived up to its name so well

It all started a few years ago, when the web discovered The Skyrim Grandma, or the Skyrim granny in French. Shirley Curry, her real name, posted on her Twitter screenshots reflecting the beauty of the landscapes of the fifth opus of the Elder Scrolls. Moreover, she has a Youtube channelon which she currently continues to add various gameplay videos.

The adorable grandmother embodies a Khajiit and therefore publishes excerpts from her adventures in Skyrim. We advise you to see one of his videosthe gameplay is quite slow, but more than surprising! The highlights of its gameplay are numerousbut we’ll remember the one where she refused to steal from an NPC she had just killed, saying “no, it’s not done, we’re not going to fly”.

Over time, the grandmother has become a real mascot of The Elder Scrolls communityso much so that Bethesda had unveiled in 2019 working on an NPC in its effigy.

But today, Bethesda license fan gets impatientand made them a touching request regarding the arrival of the sixth opus.

“Hurry up !”

At the end of April, our dear octogenarian took part in the PAX East. There, she held a booth where she conducted a question and answer session. During this session, the media Rock, Papers, Shotgun asked her what she would say to Todd Howard (executive producer at Bethesda) if he was in this room. His answer was very clear.

“Why not hello? (…) No, I’ll ask him to give me a good game and ask him to hurry up and finish Skyrim 6. I want to play it before I die!”

Time is running out for Bethesdaeven if the inveterate fan of the license seems to be in very good health.

In 2019, she had already met Todd Howard, when he told her that she would have her own NPC in Skyrim. There is therefore no doubt that this call will reach the ears of the executive producer of Bethesda, at least we strongly hope so.

If Starfield is expected as the messiah by a good number of players, the shadow of The Elder Scrolls IV already hovers on the horizon while the last concrete information about it dates from 2018. However, Bethesda seems far from being at short of project, after TES6 would even already be considered…
