The Elder Scrolls Online: Expansion brings huge new area


Attention The Elder Scrolls Online fans! Bethesda announced a new and major story arc. In 2022 you will join the Bretons. In addition, you can look forward to numerous new DLCs and much more. We summarize the most important things for you.

The Elder Scrolls Online: Continues the story of the Bretons

During a stream, Bethesda revealed what content you can look forward to in ESO this year. 2022 is all about the “Legacy of the Bretons” – a year-round adventure spanning multiple DLCs and events.

The “Legacy of the Bretons” is divided into four sections:

  • Rising Tide Dungeon DLC (coming March 14th for PC and March 29th for PlayStation and Xbox)
  • High Island Chapter (coming June 21)
  • Unannounced Dungeon DLC (coming in Q3)
  • Unannounced Story DLC (coming in Q4)

So the adventure begins with the first dungeon DLC, Rising Tide, which consists of two new PvE dungeons: “The Coral Dungeon” and “The Shipbuilder’s Regret”. You’re tasked with “investigating what remains of the once-proud All Flags Navy and storming a coastal hideout of the mysterious Order of the Ascendants.” Of course, if you do well, you’ll also get rewards. New achievements, items and collectibles await you.

The Elder Scrolls Online: The High Island Chapter

Would you like to know what’s next for the Bretons? The High Island chapter continues the ongoing storyline and is intended to bring you 30 hours of new content Offer. Here you’ll discover a part of Nirn unseen in the franchise: the ancient island home of the Breton elite.

In addition to updates and quality improvement include, among others:

  • A new zone introducing the islands of High Island and Amenos
  • A new system called Tales of Tribute, an in-game trading card game
  • A new 12-player trial called Dreadsail Reef
  • Two new companions, Ember and Isobel, to join your adventures
  • New world events called cracks
  • New delves, public dungeons, world bosses and a variety of unique independent quests

High Island: Pre-order the chapter and get numerous bonuses

The Elder Scrolls Online: High Island is scheduled for release on June 6th for PC and June 21st for PlayStation and Xbox. However, if you decide to make a purchase in advance, you can secure numerous rewards upon release:

  • 1× Chest of Dark Knighthood
  • 3× High Island Treasure Maps
