the emotion after the release of the first hostages

Thirteen Israelis, ten Thais and one Filipino were released on Friday November 24. In exchange, the Jewish state released thirty-nine Palestinian prisoners during the first day of truce between Hamas and Israel. The emotion and relief are great for the families, but each side still hopes for the release of the rest of the hostages and prisoners.

A new wave of liberation was expected on Saturday November 25. The Al-Qassam Brigades, the armed wing of the Islamist movement Hamas, however, say they are delaying the handover of the hostages ” until “ that Israel “respect the agreement”.
