(Boursier.com) — The Board of Directors of EPC SA indicates that as part of the regular review of its strategic options, it periodically assesses the opportunity to carry out external growth operations or disposals of activities.
As such, the Company indicates that it has initiated an organized auction process aimed at a possible sale of its Deconstruction activity. This activity, which employs 450 people, achieved in 2021 a consolidated turnover of 97 ME for a Current Operating Result of 5.5 ME.
To date, the terms of such a sale have not been the subject of any agreement with any of the various candidates contacted and no assurance can be given as to the outcome of this sale project.
The Company will keep the market informed in accordance with applicable regulations of developments related to this project.
