This Monday, January 10, 2022, a ceremony was given at the Church of the Madeleine in homage to the Bogdanoff brothers. For the occasion, family and friends gathered to say goodbye to the scientists.
A very touching tribute. This Monday, January 10, relatives of Igor and Grichka Bogdanoff, who died of the Covid-19, gathered at the Church of the Madeleine in Paris for a last goodbye. Among those present, we could see the writer Amélie de Bourbon-Parme, Igor’s ex-wife, and their two children Alexandre (10 years old) and Constantin (7 years old). But also Countess Ludmilla d’Oultremont, Igor’s first wife, and their offspring: Sasha (32 years old), Anna (30 years old) and Wenceslas (27 years old). The last companion of the scientist, Julie Jardon was also at the church. Some celebrities also appeared at the ceremony such as Raphaël Enthoven, former minister Luc Ferry, host Julien Lepers, Francis Lalanne or even Cyril Hanouna.
From the detailed account of Gala magazine, a booklet with a photo of the twins at the time they were presenting Temps X was distributed to those present at the church. “In the universe, nothing is impossible”, one could read above.

During the ceremony full of emotions, several people paid tribute to Igor and Grichka Bogdanoff. Amélie de Bourbon-Parme said some touching words: “Your departure is a big bang“, she said. Then speaking more specifically to Igor, she said:”You are no longer there, but living forever in our heart.“
For his part, Wenceslas sang a song, “un moment of great emotion“, assures Gala and little Alexander read the first religious text.”Lord, I entrust my daddy to you as well as Grichka“, he added at the end.
According to the Dépêche du Midi, the twins will be buried on Wednesday January 12 in Saint-Lary, in the Gers, their village of birth.
