It is on June 17 that this arcade beat’em up will be available on PC and all consoles for download at a price of 24.99 euros. With its three archetypal characters, Final Vendetta uses the basics of the classics of the genre, which notably implies not to be overwhelmed and to choose the right moment to use its special techniques. A double press on up or down triggers a dodge, knowing that it is also possible to block most attacks. The backward strike to punish a deceiver arriving in the back is present, as are the various seizures and the possibility of hitting an enemy on the ground.
In a more technical register, we note the promise of being able to juggle an enemy in the air to accumulate a combo. These sequences will also fill a Super gauge which then offers the opportunity to release a super attack without it eating away at the player’s health. Claire Sparks, Duke Sancho and Miller T. Williams, our trio of playable heroes, take to the streets of London to rescue Juliet, Claire’s sister. Main course, the arcade mode will take us through six environments (with a well-hidden life in each level) with all kinds of weapons to pick up along the way, not to mention the essential roast chickens and treasures hidden in barrels and other telephone booths. Versus, Boss Rush and Survival modes are also available in addition, all playable alone or with a friend.
