Sites created to usurp identity: the Financial Markets Authority invites savers and professionals to be cautious.

The French stock market regulator has observed the proliferation of registered domain names including the acronym AMF, created in recent weeks.

For the time being, these web addresses only lead to pages under construction, according to the Autorité des Marchés Financiers (AMF), which is concerned, however, that they could be used for phishing campaigns, or more generally to usurpation in order to obtain sensitive personal information or to claim sums of money.
