The First Descendant will descend from the sky in summer 2024

The open beta crossplay which took place from September 19 to 25 for The First Descendant was a success according to Nexon Games. In an official statement, game producer Lee Beom-jun announced that the beta gaming sessions brought together more than 2 million players across 200 countries. Following user feedback at the end of said beta, the decision was made to postpone the release date of the title, to, as the saying goes, “offer the best possible experience to players”.

The Matrix Awakens

The scenario of The First Descendant fits on a metro ticket: in collaboration in groups of four, players will be keen to kill gigantic creatures to protect humanity, all in a SF setting. We can devote ourselves at leisure to collecting equipment to improve our performance and special skills to be ever more efficient, gain more lootand start again ad nauseam. You know the song. One of the most serious arguments put forward by Nexon is the use of Unreal Engine 5.2, which, it must be admitted, works wonders. The game sequences look splendid, the armor and faces are screamingly true. As for the artistic direction, let’s say that this will undoubtedly be less unifying, since it is very cold and a bit telephonic (from what we have been able to see).

The documentary judgment will take place in summer 2024, during which time The First Descendant will arrive on PC, PS4 and 5, Xbox One and Series. The title will benefit from crossplay.
