Just a few days before their official announcement by Samsung, here is the actual design of the Samsung Galaxy S24 leaked online, with the first “real” photos of the model confirming rumors about her appearance.
If Samsung has already been able to formalize the announcement date of its new flagship models, the Samsung Galaxy S24, the law of the internet is immutable: the chances that one of these models will end up leaking online at prerequisite are always enormous, and these new iterations will not escape the rule. For the first time, and only a few days before their official announcement by Samsung, the design of the new smartphone in real life has leaked. And with this leak, some interesting information about the choices made by the firm for the aesthetics of its newborns.
…Titanium?
The images revealed by user @WorkaholicDavid on X.com (using photos revealed by @GeeksReport since deleted) are clear: it seems that a golden titanium color is planned by Samsung. The latter is obviously reminiscent of the style of the very latest iPhone 15 and 15 Pro. The other information confirmed by these new photos lies in the screen, this time completely flat: Samsung is therefore abandoning curved screens this year, to join iPhone in offering a completely flat panel.
The punch-hole camera is still on the front, while the back of the smartphone seems in every way similar to last year’s model, at least based on the placement of the cameras. On the other hand, once again, the curved appearance of the back of the smartphone disappears in favor of a flat and completely rectangular structure. Nothing revolutionary in the design of these new S24s therefore, even if we see a clear desire on the part of Samsung to align with current market standards, which seem more inclined to highlight a less rounded structure and flatter.
The S24 range will be officially revealed on January 17
The Galaxy Unpacked event which will reveal the new Samsung Galaxy range will take place on January 17, and will be an opportunity for Samsung to reveal all the information about these flagship models, among the most anticipated each year. Rumors have been rife for several months about these new smartphones, particularly regarding their technical specifications.
So, if preliminary feedback is to be believed, the standard S24 should offer 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage (with potentially a version having 256GB). The S24+ will be entitled to 12GB of RAM, 2556 or 512 GB of storage. Finally, the S24 Ultra will be entitled to 12 GB of RAM and 256, 512 and 1024 GB of storage.
