In a very short video teaser published on X (Twitter), Fitbit gives a glimpse of what could well be the Fitbit Charge 6, a new iteration of its connected bracelet. The announcement will take place on September 28.
Not everyone wants to have a smart watch at wrist. But if you are still interested in the idea of tracking different aspects of your health on a daily basis, the only alternative is the connected bracelet. Especially since depending on the model, some offer almost the same functionalities as a smartwatch. There is something for all tastes and above all all budgets. If you’re looking for something a little more premium, the brand Fitbit surely has what you need. Its most complete model is the Fitbit Charge 5, released in 2021. Fitbit could unveil the Charge 6 connected bracelet on September 28
On its X account (Twitter), Fitbit published a 6-second video in which we see someone stepping back to enter the camera frame before moving closer and cutting. The person waves his arms, but we see on his wrist what we assume to be the Fitbit Charge 6. At the end of the clip, a date: September 28, 2023. The presentation is therefore imminent. What do we know about this Charge 6 exactly? In terms of design, it would be a copy of the 5, with the exception of a physical button. You can’t see it in the images, however.

It is especially at the software level that we expect new features: the bracelet would integrate Google services as YouTube Music And Maps, among others. You won’t have to wait long for definitive confirmation. Note that Google, which owns Fitbit, wisely chose to schedule the event a week before unveiling the Pixel 8 on October 4.
