the France-Bulgaria match will be able to accommodate 5,000 spectators

On June 8, the match between France and Bulgaria, the last preparatory match for Euro 2021 football, will take place in the presence of 5,000 spectators, the sports ministry announced on Thursday, June 3. The curfew will be postponed to 11 p.m. by exemption.

The match, which will be held at the Stade de France, in Saint-Denis, will thus benefit one day in advance from the conditions of the third stage of deconfinement, scheduled for June 9, which notably increases the gauge from 1,000 to 5,000 spectators and the curfew from 9 p.m. to 11 p.m.

For the final of the Coupe de France, on May 19, the government refused any exemption and the match took place behind closed doors. It was the same for the preparatory match of the France team in Nice, Wednesday evening, against Wales.

The Roland-Garros tournament, which has been able to accommodate some 5,000 spectators since its opening, has not benefited from an exemption from the curfew for its night sessions.
