A blink of an eye and we are practically already in April. It is therefore time for Sony to lift the veil on the next games offered to all PlayStation Plus subscribers.
It’s a routine that we now know by heart. Every Wednesday before their arrival in the subscription service, Sony reveals the identity of the next three “free” PS Plus games. That and the little bonuses offered to all subscribers from time to time as was the case this month with the pack including several major Destiny 2 expansions. Barely time to digest all the March releases that there It’s already time to look ahead to April 2024. A calmer month in terms of new features, but which will perhaps be compensated by the PlayStation Plus program? We have the answer.
Here are the PS Plus games for April 2024
You’ve known the song for a long time, every month there’s a new trio of games. PlayStation offers all of its subscribers, regardless of the formula chosen, three productions which can be added to their library on the first Tuesday of the current month. Once claimed, they will be available for as long as the subscription lasts, unlike the PS Plus Extra and Premium additions which inevitably end up disappearing. In March, Sony had exceptionally bet on a quartet headlined by the excellent French game Sifu, accompanied by Hello Neighbor 2, F1 23 and the famous Destiny 2 pack. Latecomers therefore still have a few days to claim this honest selection. It will then give way to the “free” PS Plus games from April 2024. And in fact, they have just been revealed. Presentation of the PS Plus Essential games for April 2024
PS Plus subscribers will be able to discover the magical FPS developed by a Call of Duty veteran: Immortals of Aveum. Here, we trade guns for magical powers. You play as Jak, the new recruit of battle mages who must protect the world on the brink. A nice EA Originals title, which unfortunately did not meet with the expected success. Another headliner this month, Minecraft Legends, a spin-off mixing strategy and action. Faced with the arrival of ravaging piglins, you will have to fight tactical battles and form alliances to save a land on the brink of destruction. The game also contains a multiplayer component, where you can team up with eight other players. This second game offered on PS Plus unfortunately also divided at its launch. Microsoft also decided to stop tracking the game only a year after its release.
It is ultimately the little indie game of this PS Plus from April 2024 which will have won unanimous support. In this 2D platformer acclaimed by players and critics, you play as Skul, a skeleton who must save his demon brothers taken prisoner by a group of heroes. The game takes on the codes of rogue-likes, notably with procedurally generated maps and an arsenal of skills that changes with each run.

All PS Plus members will still be entitled to a small bonus pack. This time it’s Overwatch 2 that we’ll have to turn to with several free content including Sigma’s legendary Beekeeper outfit or Symmetra’s Art Deco. They will be accompanied by seven epic skins as well as five rank jumps for the Battle Pass. This pack exclusive to PS Plus members will be available for a limited time. It contains
