Childhood memories, love and family collide in the narrative adventure Dordogne imagined at UMANIMATION and UN JE NE SAIS QUOI. Announced for a while now, Focus Entertainment has confirmed a June 13 release for PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Series, and Nintendo Switch.
Having lost her childhood memories, Mimi, a young woman, will reminisce about her past to try to forge links. The opportunity for the player to embody this protagonist during his childhood and try to fill in the gaps. Walkman, photographs, walks, all means are good to achieve this goal. But it is also an opportunity to discover a region in a new light, with an atypical artistic approach.
Whether Dordogne does not really stand out in its proposal, its artistic direction is clearly what makes it so unique. The game is presented as an interactive watercolor painting. Each plan is designed to become a painting, while the story progresses to move. Love, nostalgia, melancholy and happiness come together in the web woven by the developers.
