From the first day of competition, Saturday, France opened its medal counter thanks to the mixed relay in biathlon, which won silver. The beginning of a harvest of medals, during a fortnight which promises to offer its ups and downs to the tricolor team. The goal is to leave Beijing, where the Winter Games are held, with at least 15 medals, the same number as four years ago in South Korea.
