Good news for fans of Samsung smartphones, the highly anticipated Galaxy S24 series could arrive earlier than expected, and we are now aiming for a launch in the early days of next year.
As January approaches, rumors of an early launch continue to gain momentum. Several previous reports had already mentioned a presentation of the Galaxy S24 in the first weeks of 2024, but a new publication from Ice Universe, a renowned informant in China, just indicated that these could arrive even faster than expected.
According to its information, Samsung has already launched production and is preparing to unveil Galaxy S24, Galaxy S24+ and Galaxy S24 Ultra even faster than last year. The launch is expected to take place between mid-to-late January, which corroborates information from other leakers.
The Galaxy S24 will be released in January 2024
Samsung had announced the S23 series on February 1, 2023 and made it available for purchase on February 17. However, Qualcomm presented its new Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chip early this year, and Xiaomi has already launched its Xiaomi 14 series, which also promises to give Samsung a run for its money. The Galaxy S24s should therefore also arrive a little earlier.
This time, if the phones are available in mid-January, potential buyers could have their S24 in hand by the end of the month, i.e. more than 15 days before Samsung’s usual schedule.
For the moment, we do not know where the Unpacked conference dedicated to the Galaxy S24 will take place. Rather than sticking to the United States, Samsung would consider organizing events in various locations around the world, as we saw with the presentation of the Galaxy Z Fold 5 and Galaxy Z Flip 5, which took place held in South Korea.
After hosting virtual events for almost 2 years due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Korean giant seems to be banking again on conferences with the public, thus allowing viewers to quickly try out the new devices and provide initial feedback to their audience. It now remains to be seen what date Samsung will choose for its Unpacked conference, but we will obviously keep you informed as soon as we know more.
