The Game Awards 2022: A guaranteed GOTY for Elden Ring? The list of nominees has just dropped!


Tradition obliges, The Game Awards are back for the 2022 edition, on December 8! A very fruitful year in terms of gaming where we were treated to masterpieces, both from AAA studios and independent studios.

An anthology duel for the game of the year

Despite the beauty of Xenoblade Chronicles 3, the moving journey of potit chat in Stray, the superb epic of Amicia and Hugo in A Plague Tale: Requiem or the adventures of Aloy in Horizon Forbidden West, the whole world cannot ‘t help thinking that the two favorites for the title are Elden Ring and God of War Ragnarök.

The first is a game that marks a generation both by its universe and its breathtaking gameplay, and the second being the worthy successor to the game of the year 2018, just that.

The rumors seem to be confirmed. Multiple sources attest that an announcement of Diablo IV at the Game Awards would be coming on December 8, with a release date scheduled for April and possible pre-orders from this month.
