A second humanitarian aid boat expected soon

International efforts are increasing to try to deliver more aid, particularly by airdrop. Germany, which joined the countries participating in an aid airlift from Jordan for the first time on Saturday, announced a first airdrop of 4 tonnes of food over northern Gaza. The UN, the European Union, the United States and other countries, however, insist that the delivery of aid by air or sea cannot replace land routes.
