Still not officially presented by NVIDIA when they are already on sale in Serbia, the GeForce RTX 4070 Ti are obviously no more than an open secret, whose potential we are beginning to identify.
5% better than the RTX 3090 Ti
Cards like the GeForce RTX 4090 are often presented as “intermediate” models, no longer just designed for video games. That shouldn’t be the positioning of the RTX 4070 Ti.
However, the only measure presented by Videocardz today concerns OctaneBencha tool that – most logically in the world – exploits the rendering engine OctaneRender and NVIDIA’s CUDA cores. It is therefore not a “video game” test.
However, the result is interesting and allows the RTX 4070 Ti to position itself very well, ahead of all previous generation models at NVIDIA, even the GeForce RTX 3090 Ti, by around 5%.

We obviously regret that the result is not compared to models from other brands, especially sinceOctaneBench is not a tool that we are accustomed to using. In addition, the exact conditions of the test are not clear, in particular the configuration used.
Still, with its AD104 GPU with 7,680 CUDA cores and 12 GB of GDDR6X memory on a 192-bit bus, the RTX 4070 Ti seems to be performing well. Remember in passing that this card was to be named RTX 4080 12 GB, before NVIDIA reviewed its nomenclature.
The GeForce RTX 4070 Ti should be made official by NVIDIA on January 3 and everything suggests that the hardware testers are currently at work on their articles, which could be published the next day.
