Lina disappeared on September 23. 18 days later, still no trace of the 15-year-old girl, despite investigators’ searches. As a reminder, the young girl disappeared around 11:22 a.m., while she was walking to the Saint-Blaise-La-Roche station to join her boyfriend Tao in Strasbourg. His cell phone stopped transmitting at 11:22 a.m. in the same place where the tracking dogs lose track. Either near the Breux pond which was searched for the police.
Furthermore, three fishermen were present on the pond the day of Lina’s disappearance but they claim not to have seen the young girl. Statements confirmed by surveillance cameras. But the investigation has just taken a new turn. Indeed, two witnesses claim to have seen Lina on September 23. Robert Dubois, called Robbie, said he saw Lina in a blue car. Asked by The New Detective, the 72-year-old retiree made surprising statements.

Indeed, Robert Dubois indicated to the New Detective : “When the car passed on the road, I saw Lina in the passenger seat. I know her, I often go shopping at Proxi where she works. I would be amazed that it was her. She smiled at me and waved at me through the open window…”. But that’s not all. Sixtine Leppert, journalist at New Detective has asked the witness if investigators showed him photos of the suspects.
To which Robert Dubois would have replied: “Yes” embarrassed. For the journalist, there is no doubt: the witness knows the suspect. “I understand her embarrassment. We can assume that Lina knew this mysterious driver. And that the whole neighborhood knows him too”, writes Sistine Leppert. A theory to which Mélina, Lina’s childhood friend also adheres. Indeed, the young woman explained that Lina would never have gotten into a stranger’s car, because she was rather suspicious by nature. However, Robert Dubois had previously indicated that he did not recognize the driver, who wore a goatee. “I saw the driver with a slight goatee (…) It’s the first time I saw this gentleman.”
