The Gentlemen: Netflix unveils the jubilant teaser for Guy Ritchie’s new series

Did you like the Guy Ritchie film? The Gentlemen, with Matthew McConaughey and Colin Farrell? A world of aristocrats and gangsters

With this series, Guy Ritchie (Snatch, Sherlock Holmes) presents fans of the 2019 film with a new vision of its universe, which features completely new characters.

Here, it’s about following the adventures of Eddie Horniman (played by Theo James), Duke of Halstead, who finds himself immersed in a world full of gangsters.

According to the official synopsis of the series, “Eddie suddenly inherits his father’s vast estate, before discovering that he is part of a veritable cannabis empire. To top it all off, dangerous organized crime figures in Britain want their piece of the pie. Determined to extricate his family from their clutches, Eddie tries to take the gangsters at their own game. But as he gets deeper into crime, he begins to take a liking to it.“

In addition to Theo James (Divergent, The White Lotus), series The Gentlemen brings together Kaya Scodelario (The labyrinth), Ray Winstone (Infiltrators), Vinnie Jones (Snatch), Daniel Ings (Sex Education), Joely Richardson (Lady Chatterley’s Lover) or even Giancarlo Esposito (Better Call Saul).

The Gentlemen is a drama and action series whose first two episodes are directed by Guy Ritchie, who is also co-writer with Matthew Read (Peaky Blinders). Both are also executive producers of the show.
