Historical dramas are always popular. In the world of series, “Downton Abbey” and “Bridgerton” have been the talk of the town in recent years, with “Downton Abbey” appealing to a predominantly older audience and “Bridgerton” aimed more at younger viewers.

The new HBO production “The Gilded Age” looks like a mix of both series and should therefore convince both young and old. The story centers on Marian Brook, a young woman who moves to New York in the 1880s and becomes involved in the disputes between the old, wealthy families and the nouveau riche.

“The Gilded Age” is expected to run on Sky in Germany, but a start date is not yet known. In the US, on the other hand, it began airing on January 24, 2022, and a new episode will be released every Monday. Netzwelt reveals how you can already stream the series.

“The Gilded Age” streaming on HBO Max

As an HBO production, the current episodes end up on the HBO Max streaming service immediately after their broadcast on US pay TV. Although this is not yet available in Germany, it is still possible to take out an HBO Max subscription in this country, as our instructions reveal .
