“The government ad”: the unfortunate slip of the influencer EmmaCakeCup on her live with Gabriel Attal: Femme Actuelle Le MAG

After hosting his very first live with the famous YouTuber EnjoyPhoenix on November 1, 2020, Gabriel Attal, the government spokesperson who succeeds Sibeth N'Diaye, followed up six other interviews filmed live with influencers to discuss the crisis of coronavirus and government crisis management. On December 27, 2020, Gabriel Attal answered questions from EmmaCakeCup, a young 24-year-old content creator. Exchanges that would not have given rise to any financial compensation for influencers, as Gabriel Attal has always said. And yet, in an interview with Daily and broadcast Thursday, January 14, 2021, Emma CakeCup proposed a slip of the tongue to say the least … and quite funny.

The one who shares her life with Vlad Oltean remembers her face-to-face with Gabriel Attal facing the columnist Paul Larrouturou. EmmaCakeCup confides that she has been "contacted by email on [her] professional email by a young woman who manages Gabriel Attal's social networks". The reporter then asks her if it felt like it had been used; even manipulated by the government. "I don't think there is any manipulation in all of this, we still have a community. We are followed by a lot of young people on social networks. I think it is very important to inform them [… ] Many are not aware of the seriousness ", she says.

An interview that gave birth to many killer comments on social networks. In particular, it was called "collaborator"."I'm not the only one to have taken so much violence because I'm not the only influencer to have publicized… ", she begins to answer before realizing her slip, suggesting that she had been paid to give a good image of the government. "Finally 'advertised', not at all, it's a slip of the tongue … sorry ", she outbid, laughing, obviously quite embarrassed.
