The government is considering a new stimulus package, according to the Kyodo news agency

TOKYO (Reuters) – Japan’s government plans to roll out a new economic stimulus package after parliament passes the fiscal year 2022 budget, the Kyodo news agency reported on Wednesday.

Representatives of the ruling coalition on Tuesday called for a new spending program to cushion the economic blow of the Ukraine crisis, which has hit households and retailers by pushing up energy and food prices.
