Fable 4 is recruiting

We assume that its work is quietly progressing, and the studio is actively looking for new hands to consolidate its teams. Clearly, the studio is strengthening its ranks.
Playground Games wants to offer the best possible experience for the great return of the RPG. And for that he needs help. We saw him go on X (formerly Twitter) with a message inviting people to apply for three different job offers: Senior Game Designer, Senior Level Designer and Senior Quest Designer. Given the importance of the roles, we will be able to wait a long time before knowing more about Fable 4. But it is reassuring to see that the company is recruiting, where, at the moment, we only hear about layoffs …
Not to mention that the studio faced a fairly significant departure last summer. It was that of Anna Megill, who we know for having worked on Control, Dishonored: Death of the Outsider, and the next Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora. “ In August, I will step down from my role as narrative lead for Fable. I’ve spent many wonderful years doodling in my fairytale cottage, but now is the time for new challenges “. These new job offers are therefore rather positive in the end.
Any first images that were annoying?
The last time we saw Fable 4 was during the Xbox Games Showcase in June 2023. We were quickly able to see the first gameplay images. However, this did not sit well with a few players who expressed their dissatisfaction. Remember that the RPG is developed with the ForzaTech engine from Turn 10 Studios, used to Forza Horizon And Forza Motorsport. A technology that has proven itself. Despite this, some people questioned the graphic quality of what was shown in the teaser. It didn’t take long for the studio’s response to be heard. “The fact that people don’t believe it’s ‘real’ or that the game will look like that is one of the best compliments”. These words quickly reassured the community which was already talking about a downgrade for the release of the game. We can’t wait to see the next trailer to show the progress of the project.
