The Horizons party suspends Senator Guerriau

PARIS (Reuters) – The Horizons party (center right) “immediately” suspended senator Joël Guerriau on Saturday, suspected of having drugged an MP without her knowledge.

In a press release relayed by several media, members of the party of former Prime Minister Edouard Philippe say they are “deeply shocked by the facts” reported.

Joël Guerriau, suspected of having drugged MP Sandrine Josso, was indicted on Friday for “administration without the knowledge of (a person) a substance likely to impair their discernment or control of their actions, in order to of committing rape or sexual assault and possession and use of substances classified as narcotics.”
