The Zaporizhia nuclear power plant, which has been hit in recent weeks, has been connected to the Ukrainian electricity grid and is operating normally, had assured the Ukrainian operator Energoatom, Saturday morning. However, “the plant’s infrastructure has been damaged and there are risks of hydrogen leakage and spraying of radioactive substances”, warned the energy company.
